RDx onboarding successfully completed by GVL

GVL is now connected to the international database RDx and can thus accept repertoire submissions of its producers via this platform.

“We are very pleased that we are now a productive part of this international project”, Dirk Löwenberg, Head of the Rights Holders’ Service Division, points out. “RDx participants can now opt for an automatic transfer of their repertoire from one central source to GVL. At the same time, they can resolve conflicts in one place and update data in order to pass it on to GVL and other collective management organisations/music licensing companies that are connected with RDx.”

RDx is a central international repertoire database which enables labels to transmit recordings and rights ownership information by way of one central notification to several CMOs/MLCs. London-based IFPI and the WIN independent labels are behind RDx, a joint venture which was launched in 2020.
