Free worldwide rights management through GVL: Simple and transparent

GVL administers the rights of its rights holders not only in Germany but also worldwide through its international network. Through long-standing partnerships with foreign collecting societies, remuneration from abroad is collected and forwarded to the rights holders.

There are no additional costs for this international rights administration. The costs of rights administration are already included in GVL’s regular administrative expenses.

Some external providers/agencies charge fees for services that GVL provides free of charge.

Performers should carefully consider whether fee-based third-party services actually offer added value. Services such as international rights management, the adjustment of mandates, or the provision of existing registration data are among the services that GVL offers its rights holders without separate service fees.

Even if it becomes necessary to restrict mandates in individual cases, GVL’s rights holder service provides free of charge assistance with the necessary steps.
