We put three questions in relation to the exceptional year 2020 and the plans for the coming year to Bernhard F. Störkmann, Shareholder representative for the BFFS and Dr Till Völger, GVL Delegate for dubbing actors and member of the BFFS Board.
The Minister of State for Culture and Media, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Economics, has confirmed: current remuneration from collective management organisations or music licensing organisations (CMOs/MLCs) has no influence on the special economic support measures granted by the Federal Government in November and December.
On 25/11/2020, GVL will begin with the payouts of the performer remuneration as part of its initial distribution 2019 and the subsequent distributions 2015 to 2018. In total, €57.7m will be additionally distributed to rights holders. See below for more details on this regular distribution.
