Artificial intelligence: Strategic partnerships for the use of AI
Efficient processes and consistent data are key to ensuring that GVL distributions are made on time and correctly. This requires the analysis and processing of enormous amounts of data and the precise allocation of several million usage and participation reports.
Strategic approach to data management
In order to fulfil its role as a reliable partner to its rights holders in the best possible way, GVL is increasingly relying on artificial intelligence, particularly in the area of data management. In this context, it cooperates closely with proven specialists in the field of AI. Together with its long-standing partner ‘moresophy’, one of the leading developers of AI-based data analytics, GVL is working to increase the already high data quality and further develop data-based processes.
Serving rights holders
‘Artificial intelligence is not an end in itself for us. Together with our strategic partners, we want to ensure that AI systems make adjustments that improve our work and thus benefit our rights holders,’ says Jens-Peter Conring, Director of Product & Service Innovation and AI Officer at GVL, summarising the cooperation. ‘This will enable us to continue to represent the interests of rights holders and producers in the best possible way in the future.’
Research partnership with the University of Potsdam
In addition to ‘moresophy’, GVL has also been working closely with Prof. Dr. Grum from the Chair of Business Informatics, Processes and Systems at the University of Potsdam for several months. Prof. Grum and his team are supporting GVL in using AI models to make data allocation even more efficient.
