GVL forwards international funds
This time, a total of approximately €3.3 million will be distributed. The funds for eligible artists come from France, the United Kingdom and Belgium, among other countries. For the first time, musicians will also receive remuneration from Kazakhstan.
On the producers' side, funds are coming from the United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark and Belgium, among other countries. These include revenues from the MTV broadcasting group.
This means that in 2025, we will have distributed approximately €10.5 million from 31 different countries around the world to our eligible artists and producers. International payments thus remain at a high level.
In addition, further agreements were concluded this year with international sister companies on the producers' side. In addition to IPF from Slovenia, INTERGRAM from Czechia and OFPS from Serbia have been added to the list of our representation agreements.
Simply commission us to manage your international rights!
The requirements for receiving international funds are the commissioning of international rights management and the submission of contribution and repertoire reports in our beneficiary portals. We recommend that you always report all your contributions on the meine.gvl portal. Even if there are currently no national uses, international use cannot be ruled out. GVL ensures that potential claims abroad are asserted for all your contributions.
To ensure that remuneration can be reliably forwarded, we also ask our rights holders to regularly check their master data on the rights holder portals and update it if necessary.
- Performers use the form ‘Transfer of rights to GVL’ for international mandates and my.gvl for everything else.
- Producers use the online portal label.gvl for both matters.
