Producers: GVL starts distribution 2018-2021

As announced in the distribution plans 2021, we have made available the individual distribution results of the 2021 initial distribution for sound recordings in label.gvl.

Due to additional subsequent repertoire registrations and further allocation of broadcast reports, also by way of claims of unallocated usages which many producers have submitted, we were able to increase the results of the years 2018 to 2020 again – here are the details: For the 2018 usage year, the distribution quota now stands at 90.30% for 2019 at 93.45% and for 2020 at 91.63%. 

Furthermore, we achieved an overall distribution quota of 85.90% in our initial distribution for usage year 2021, and thus an additional increase to last year’s quota in our initial distribution 2020. In total, we managed to allocate about EUR 60 million in revenues across all of the above-mentioned years.
