Producers: Sound Recording Distributions for 2022 through 2025 Completed

Remuneration for the Initial distribution in 2025 and subsequent distributions from 2022 through 2024 have been paid out.

As announced, GVL has today completed the above-mentioned distributions. The payment notices and individual distribution results are now available on the label.gvl producer portal.

“With a distribution quota of over 91 percent, we’ve set a new record for the initial distribution for the 2025 usage year,” says Dirk Löwenberg, Head of Rights Holder Services for Producers & Event Organisers. “At the same time, we were also able to further improve on the results of previous years, thereby reallocating a total of more than 77 million euros.”

Distribution Quotas in Detail

For the 2022 usage year, the distribution quota now stands at 94.95%; for 2023, at 95.00%; and for 2024, at 92.56%. Furthermore, in the initial distribution for the 2025 usage year, we have achieved our highest distribution quota to date with a total distribution quota of 91.30%.
