I can't log into the artist portal my.gvl. What can I do?

General notes:

  • Always use your contract number to log in. This is not the same as your GVL ID. We normally send your GVL ID in our mailings. Please also check that the password is case-sensitive.
  • If you create a password with the login link sent to you after finishing the contract and receive the error message ‘Invalid authorisation token’, the link has already expired. Follow the instructions below in the section Create a new password.

 

If you know your access data but the login still does not work

Tip 1: Change browser

If you use Safari as your browser, please try the latest version of Firefox or Google Chrome. Unfortunately, the display of the portal in Safari is not always reliable. 

Tip 2: Clear cache

If you have problems logging in, it is sometimes helpful to delete all cookies and the cache in the browser settings before logging in again: 

  • Firefox: via →Menu (top right 3 horizontal lines below each other) →Settings →Privacy & Security →Chronicle →Clear history 
  • Chrome: via →Menu (top right 3 dots below each other) →History →Delete browser data→Delete data.

After deleting the cookies and cache, please close the browser completely and reopen it before attempting to log in again.   If these tips do not solve the problem, please create a new password as described below.

 

Create a new password

Please go to our artist portal my.gvl and click on “Forgot password?”

In the login screen that opens, enter your GVL contract number and click on the “Renew your password now” button.

We will immediately send a link to the e-mail address you have registered with us. You can use this link to assign a new password. Please also check your spam folder.

 

Possible error messages

If you see the message “You have no permission to log in” after entering your contract number and password, please check that your contract number has been entered correctly (no spaces before or after the number).  If it is entered correctly, please contact us.

If, after pressing the Forgot password button and entering your contract number, the message “Your password request cannot be processed. Please contact our service team” is displayed, please contact us.
