Corona crisis: Emergency help for freelance rightsholders

Dear GVL members,

Events regarding the coronavirus have been developing extremely fast over the past few days. We know that many of you also find themselves in an exceptional situation. In addition to health concerns, economic aspects also play a major role, especially among our rightsholders.

For this reason, we have set up measures to support for rightsholders in financial distress within the framework of our social grants. Rightsholders who work exclusively on a freelance basis and who have lost their income due to Covid-19-related event or production cancellations can receive a one-time financial assistance of 250 Euros within the scope of GVL's social grants.

Due to the current situation, GVL also has to deal with resource shortages. We are trying to be as quick as possible when it comes to payouts, but we have to ask for patience in view of the rush.
