GVL forwards foreign remuneration
Last week, GVL forwarded remuneration from abroad to its entitled recording producers for the second time this year. Now the international royalties for performing artists will be following as planned.â¯A total of around EUR 3.8 million will be distributed this quarter. The payments originated this time from Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the UK, Japan and Sweden, among others.
âTogether with our international key markets our performers will be pleased to receive remuneration from Serbia for the first timeâ, indicates Peter Buchheit, Head of International Affairs Performing Artists. âJust shortly after having signed the agreement with PI Serbia and within our steady processes of optimising our international exchange, we are capable of forwarding these monies directly and efficient to our rightsholders.âÂ
Commission us to manage your rights internationally:â¯Â
Prerequisites for receiving foreign remuneration are the assignment for international rights management, as well as the registration of participations and repertoire in our portals for rightsholders. In order to be able to forward remuneration reliably, we also ask our rightsholders to check their master data regularly and to update it if necessary:â¯Â
-
Performing artists use the form âInternational mandate for the transfer of rightsâ for international commissioning and meine.gvl for all other mattersâ¯Â
-
Recording producers use the online portal label.gvl for both purposesâ¯Â
