GVL launches scholarship programme NEUSTART KULTUR 5,000 Euros for artistic projects

Soloists or choir singers, dubbing artists, actors or dancers - freelance artists are eligible for support for scholarships totalling EUR 30m from August via GVL. Applications can be submitted directly and online via the application portal of GVL from 9 August (10am) onwards. There is also a comprehensive FAQ section on the portal www.gvl-stipendienprogramm.de which provides answers all the important questions on applications and explanations on funding guidelines. Freelance artists or performers employed for the duration of a production can apply for the scholarship programme if their total income has not surpassed EUR 60,000 in 2020.
The following artistic procedures are supported: Performances, productions or online formats. Research projects and creative further education measures are also supported. The scholarships will be allocated in the order of receipt of the applications and after verification by an independent jury of experts until the monies have been used up.
GVL allocates the means in the course of the scholarship programme of the collective management organisations in NEUSTART KULTUR of the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
