GVL stands in solidarity with Ukraine

We are shocked and very much concerned about Russia's attack on Ukraine. We are shocked that a war is raging again in the middle of Europe. We are concerned about our fellow humans in Ukraine - among them many creative people and their families.

Our hearts and thoughts are with the incredibly brave people who are defending our democratic values and our freedom there at the risk of their lives.

In the past week, GVL has decided to suspend all representation agreements with Russian CMOs. As a member of SCAPR, the international organization of CMO for performing artists, we also support the decision to suspend the Russian collective management organizations in SCAPR.

We sincerely hope that the Russian war against Ukraine will end immediately and that the creative organizations of Russia will use their influence to call for the end of the war.
