GVL supports the campaign day "Kultur gut stärken" (strengthen culture well) on 21 May by the German Cultural Council

The annual campaign day "Kultur gut stärken“ launched by the German Cultural Council is planned to be held around 21 May 2013 this year. This year, it is held under the motto "cultural education".

All over Germany, artists and cultural institutions shall organise events providing platforms for discussions, exhibitions, readings, concerts, open house days, demonstrations and much more. Everyone can participate in this campaign "Kultur gut stärken", irrespective of whether their initiatives are big or small, or whether they have an international or a regional outreach.  Everyone is asked to join in, whether they are cultural institutions, artists or cultural associations, and lend their voice for a new culture of acknowledging artistic and cultural performance and efforts.

GVL supports this day of action and calls its members and partners to get involved. www.kulturstimmen.de provides an overview of campaign material available for order such as stickers, logos, buttons; posters and information material such as sample press releases and event suggestions. Your own campaigns and initiatives surrounding the day "Kultur gut stärken" can be entered into the specially implemented event calendar.
