Introduction of new GVL-ID as artist, contract resp. customer number

In the past year GVL has, as part of the system changeover, introduced a unique identification number for all its members and partners - the so-called GVL-ID. Going forwards the GVL-ID will replace the "old GVL-ID" resp. contract number on our correspondence with you, our members (e.g. payout information and detailed reports).

Similarly for broadcasters and webcasters: from now the easiest way for us to find you on our system will be via the new GVL-ID, and no longer via the previous customer number.

The GVL-ID acts as the unique identifier for all our members. Heirs or power of attorneys will also receive their own GVL-ID. If you are represented with us in multiple categories (e.g. artist and producers, artist and heir) you will have several GVL-IDs.

But don’t worry: when you contact us directly, we will still be able to find you on the system via your artist resp. contract number. Also, for your convenience, for the foreseeable future detailed reports will continue to include both numbers. Furthermore your login to our portals artsys.gvl and label.gvl will continue to work with the usual access details.
