Tilo Gerlach re-elected as a member of the SCAPR Board and as President of AEPO-ARTIS
SCAPR is the international umbrella organisation of the collective management organisations for performing artists. It was founded in 1986 and is a non-profit-organisation with headquarters in Brussels. It acts as an international platform for the development of the operative collaboration between the collective management organisations for performing artists. It represents 58 societies from 42 countries.
Under the umbrella of SCAPR, members develop, among others, processes and systems with the objective to further intensify and improve the data and remuneration exchange between the sister societies. GVL has been contributing to several working groups and committees for many years and thus actively influences the development of SCAPR.
AEPO-ARTIS represents 36 European collective management organisations for performing artists. The focus of its works is to strengthen and protect the performing artists and their collective management organisations.
GVL is pleased that due to the involvement and the re-elections of Dr. Tilo Gerlach the continuity in those committees and governing bodies is ensured. As such, GVL remains an important point of contact in the international context and continues to be actively involved in the strengthening of the rights of performing artists all over the world.
