Important: Please note that the deadline for submitting complaints is six weeks after the respective distribution. If a usage year has been finally distributed, a complaint is no longer possible after these six weeks and the distribution year is not available for selection below.
A complaint requires evidence that justifies the reason for the complaint.
For the purposes of traceability and verification of any missing usages, the evidence you provide must include not only the ISRC, artist and title of the recording concerned but also the broadcasters on which the usages occurred. This minimum information is absolutely necessary for your complaint to be processed. Before submitting your complaint, please check whether the broadcasters for which you are missing usages are actually analysed by GVL for the distribution year in question. Please refer to our distribution plans for the relevant distribution years for a list of broadcasters that are relevant for distribution. You can find the distribution plans here (in the ‘Distribution plans’ section).
We cannot process complaints that are not received within the deadline, remain unfounded or contain evidence that does not meet the above conditions and will therefore be rejected.
Before you file a complaint, please check whether remuneration has not been paid due to conflicts or withdrawn recordings and also check any unallocated usages in the published open usages in label.gvl.
