The new Registered section

The new Registered section in my.gvl

Dear beneficiaries,

we are pleased to present a new development in the artist portal my.gvl. As part of the replacement of our old systems, we implemented the new Registered section. It fits into the new design of my.gvl and offers many improvements, as well as more clarity.

In the past, the display of registered contributions in the Registered area was not optimal: Especially when there were several participation reports for one production, there were always irritations, because the individual reports were displayed separately. In some cases, rejected reports were the first to catch the eye, while existing, verified contributions registered for the same production were not immediately visible.

From now on, your contributions will be displayed bundled per production (1). A color system (2) shows you at first glance whether a verified contribution already exists for a production (green symbol) and whether there are any further participation reports. In the case of rejected reports (red symbol), the rejection reason (3) is now also visible in the detailed view with one click.

Also new: You can filter your reported contributions by category (4). Beneficiaries with different fields of activity can now, for example, display their contributions to sound recordings, films and series or radio productions separately.

A highlight at the end: Via the button "Export all contributions" (5), your reports can be exported in an Excel sheet for the first time. This increases transparency, especially for beneficiaries with many registered contributions or for agencies. If required, more complex sorting, filtering and evaluations can be carried out.

Please note that the counting method of the display in the Registered area has changed, because now products and no longer individual participations are displayed. However, we will provide the known count based on participations at a later date. In the meantime, you can get the exact number of participations from the Excel export if needed.

We hope you like these improvements. For more information, please refer to the manual for the artist portal, which we will update soon for this occasion.

Are you satisfied with the new Registered area or are there any features you are missing? Then let us know because we will continue to improve my.gvl. We welcome your feedback at portalfeedback@gvl.de.
