As announced, we have begun providing the individual distribution results for the subsequent distributions of sound recordings from 2022 to 2024 in label.gvl.

Due to further late registrations and additional allocation of broadcast reports and submitted claims for unallocated usages, we were able to increase the results for the years 2022 to 2024 once again: For the usage year 2022, the distribution quota now stands at 93.83%, for 2023 at 93.62% and for 2024 at 90.49%.

Event organisers with remuneration can now find their individual distribution results for the final distribution 2021 in the my.gvl portal.

With this final distribution, GVL concludes the distribution for the usage year 2021. All funds, including provisions, that are available to us for this year will be distributed.

Around €21.9 million will be paid out in the final distribution for 2021. 183,739 performing artists worldwide participated in the 2021 distributions. These are all rights holders who have reported their contributions to used productions by the deadline.

This registration deadline also applies to Radio/TV -extra formats (e.g. individual contributions in non-fictional formats, advertising, documentaries).

In the course of this distribution run, GVL pays out a total of EUR 57.7 m to performers and their legal successors, of which EUR 48 m relate to the initial distribution 2024, and EUR 9.7 m are associated with the subsequent distributions 2022 and 2023.

As announced, GVL has today completed the above distributions.

There were only a few changes to the content this year. The most important changes concern the so-called station lists – i.e. the lists of programmes to be evaluated. They were made in the following areas:

Today, GVL began making the individual distribution results for the initial distribution for 2024 available on the my.gvl portal. At the same time, we completed the regular distributions for the 2022 and 2023 years of use.

Payments have been initiated, and detailed reports and payment notifications have been made available in my.gvl. The final distribution for 2021 is currently scheduled for November 2025.

In this distribution run, GVL is distributing a total of €13.6 million in additional payments to performers and their legal successors for the years 2021 to 2023.
