The GVL at the ‘DDEX Plenary’ 2024

GVL is committed to harmonised standards in the digital music value chain. Implementation workshop on 21 November 2024

As a member of the ‘Digital Data Exchange’, GVL has been actively working with other leading players in the music industry for many years to exchange information more efficiently along the entire value chain.

As a collective management organisation, GVL pays particular attention to the DDEX-RDR standard (formerly MLC), which standardises the exchange of data between Producers and collective management organisations. This is intended to improve data quality and increase efficiency. The developed standards are available industry-wide and free of charge. It is not necessary to be a DDEX member to use them.

An ‘Implementation Seminar’ will take place as part of the 44th DDEX Plenary Meeting on 21 November 2024. Together with Universal Music Group, Dirk Löwenberg and Maximilian Arnold will present the current state of implementation of DDEX-RCC (Rights Claiming Conflict). The workshop is also open to non-DDEX members. Participation is free of charge and possible virtually or on site.
