GVL pays out second instalment of the scholarship programme

The scholarship programme, launched in 2021 in NEUSTART KULTUR, enters its final round. Some recipients have already been paid their second instalments of the scholarships.

In the past year, it was difficult for many creatives to earn money in their field of work due to the pandemic. The GVL scholarship in the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR amounting to EUR 5,000 served to support performers to weather this period of hardship. It is set up to be paid in two instalments across a period of four months. Up to the end of last year, about 5,500 performers received their first instalment of EUR 4,500. Now, the second instalment of EUR 500 is due to be paid out.

GVL is approaching scholarship recipients!

The second rate will be paid out to recipients of the scholarship programme upon evaluation of a factual report they need to submit where they present the implementation of their promoted project.then verified. Shortly before the respective four-month period expires, they will receive a an e-mail from GVL addressed to them personally. It includes:

  • A request to submit the factual report
  • A link to the website where they can upload the report
  • A comprehensive set of instructions how they best go about it

We kindly ask scholarship recipients to refrain from submitting the factual report without being requested to do so. We are going to approach all those subject to the support programme and pay out the second instalment upon evaluation.
