What can guests expect at the GVL Talk on international rights management?

Of course, we get standard questions like "Why did I receive this specific amount?", "What do I have to do to get foreign money in the first place?" or "What do I have to do to resolve mandate conflicts?"

We address these questions at the GVL Talk, especially the issue of mandate conflicts. This is an elementary topic for international exchange. There are often overlaps here that then block payments to performers.

Basically, there are no wrong questions. Just bring your questions to the talk on 19 April or give them when you register, then we can prepare for them.

Final question on the funds currently being forwarded from abroad: What is your conclusion?

It was a good start and the amount of money forwarded is remarkable. Almost 20,000 rights holders have benefited from this transfer. The ratio between musicians and actors was very balanced, which makes us happy for the rights holders.
