Successful conclusion of the scholarship programme of GVL in Neustart Kultur
The scholarship programme, launched two years ago as part of “Neustart Kultur” was successfully ended by GVL in 2022. Overall, approx. 5,500 performers were able to benefit from support of 5,000 Euros each.
For many creators and artists, the COVID-19 pandemic has been and still remains a huge challenge. To alleviate this state of emergency for freelance performers a little, GVL launched a scholarship programme as part of Neustart Kultur in 2021. In September 2022, the final recipients were paid their second instalment which meant that the programme came to a positive conclusion.
