Rights Holders' Assembly

The Right Holders' Assembly consists of 15 GVL group assemblies and is convened at least every four years; all right holders are at liberty to attend. At the Right Holders' Assembly, up to 22 delegates and 22 alternate delegates are elected as representatives of GVL right holders into the Associates’ and Delegates’ Assembly - one of the most important governing bodies of GVL.

Our supervisory authority, the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), sends representatives to the Right Holders' Assembly and monitors the proper execution of the event, especially the elections.
