The payouts will be made to rights holders whose productions have been used in the corresponding years and who had notified GVL of their contributions.

In this additional payout run for the usage years up to 2014, back payments from the private copying sector (ZPÜ monies) will be distributed for previous usage years and for dissolved reserves which were not used for other distributions that have been completed in the meantime. 

Our next online seminar for producers and labels takes place on 26 May 2021 at 5pm [CET]. Apart from a short presentation of our producer portal label.gvl, we will focus on the topic of rights ownership records and how to manage them.

This goes hand in hand with significant steps to facilitate evidence submissions. “We wanted to make it as simple as possible to our producers to assign their rights to us. In addition to that, we wanted to adapt the requirements for the initial issuance of the label code to the circumstances of the track-based remuneration for rights ownership. As a consequence, we have slimmed down the process”, explains Dirk Löwenberg, Head of the Rights Holders’ Service division for producers & promoters.  

For this special distribution, there will not be any detailed statements, since the broadcast minutes of the respective distribution years were used as a basis for the calculation of the distributable amounts.

Today the payout of the remuneration for the open budgets 2010 to 2014 starts.

As usual, you will find your GVL remuneration statements in your my.gvl account: Log in at my.gvl.de with your access data. Click on the "My Account" menu item (bottom left) and then on the "Payouts" tab.

Your detailed reports will be made available from the start under "Remuneration". Inheritors generally receive their remuneration statements by letter mail.

Please note:

Factors such as gender-specific differences in employment conditions, salary distribution and career opportunities within companies in the music industry will be investigated. In addition, insights will be gained into the influences of gender diversity on consumer purchasing decisions and user behaviour.

The significance of gender equality in the usage of music services from a consumer's point of view will also be examined for the first time. The results will be presented at Reeperbahn Festival in September 2021.

The invitations contain personal registration details for the participation to the BV2021. Furthermore, there will be general information regarding the event and the agenda, explanations regarding the online registration and the participation in the digital voting process as well as tips regarding candidatures.

Today, GVL is paying the remuneration in the subsequent distribution runs relating to usage years 2017 to 2019 to producers of sound recordings. Producers can access their individual distribution results with immediate effect in the portal label.gvl.

One year of corona: How would you summarise it?
