As part of its path to being of the most modern collective management organisations/music licensing companies, GVL is processing huge volumes of data, particularly usage and contribution notifications. Marc Westphal and his division see to it that GVL is ready for this challenge - now and in future. Supported by a team of developers, systems and requirements managers and testers, the division develops and runs modern portals for our stakeholders. It also provides a complete technical infrastructure, such as the software environment for international distributions. In the process, the division has a steady exchange with our expert groups and works in close collaboration with them.
Prior to joining GVL in 2018, Marc Westphal had been an IT consultant and last held the position of Head of Technology und Senior Vice President of a major entertainment company.
