Recently, international revenues were already distributed to their entitled recording producers. Now, as planned, the remuneration for performing artists will follow these days. "We are pleased to announce that in parallel with the initial and subsequent distributions, we are successfully forwarding international remuneration and are able to pay out approximately €1.7 million to our rightsholders in this distribution round," reports Burkhard Sehm, head of Legal & Business Affairs.

From 21 to 24 September, the Reeperbahn Festival opened its gates in Hamburg again. Apart from a plethora of live acts firing up the audience, music business players met to discuss their most burning topics as part of a comprehensive conference programme.

As usual, you can find your payment notifications (AZM) in your my.gvl account: Log in at mygvl.de with your access data. Click on "My Account" in the menu under "Service", then on "Payouts". Under "Remuneration" your detailed report will be filed accordingly in the next two weeks. In principle, heirs will receive their payout notification by post.

As announced in the distribution plans 2021, we have made available the individual distribution results of the 2021 initial distribution for sound recordings in label.gvl.

Apart from international gigs the festival also offers a number of events on exciting contents for international trade visitors. From 21 to 24 September, in the course of 130 different sessions, talks, networking events and interviews about twelve topic groups, 350 speakers and presenters provide insights into the current challenges and issues with respect to live entertainment, recorded music, media and journalism, among others.

Good news! The individual results of the distributions to event organisers, scheduled for August, were already paid out by GVL today: This includes the 2021 initial distribution and the regular distributions for the usage years 2019 and 2020. Detailed reports and payout notifications are now available on the portal meine.gvl.

The final distributions for the years 2017 and 2018 are still scheduled for the fourth quarter 2022 as per our current schedule.
