Producers: Final distribution for 2021 will take place

We are pleased to announce that, thanks to further repertoire registrations and additional conflict resolutions, we have been able to increase the average distribution rate for 2021 to 96.6 per cent with the final distribution.

Traditionally, the November meeting of the GuDV sets the course for the coming year: in addition to project and budget planning for 2026, the agenda included the approval of grant applications for 2026 and reports from the Finance, Tariff and Distribution Committee.

Performers: Final distribution 2021 started

With this final distribution, GVL concludes the distribution for the usage year 2021. All funds, including provisions, that are available to us for this year will be distributed.

Around €21.9 million will be paid out in the final distribution for 2021. 183,739 performing artists worldwide participated in the 2021 distributions. These are all rights holders who have reported their contributions to used productions by the deadline.

Performers: Launch of the initial and subsequent distributions 2022-2024

In the course of this distribution run, GVL pays out a total of EUR 57.7 m to performers and their legal successors, of which EUR 48 m relate to the initial distribution 2024, and EUR 9.7 m are associated with the subsequent distributions 2022 and 2023.
