On 01 June 2014, GVL welcomed Till Valentin Völger to the Board. Völger was elected by GVL's associates, the German Orchestra Association (DOV) and the Federal Association of the Music Industry (BVMI); he succeeds Benjamin Dickmann.
GVL has modified its agreement for the assignment and administration of rights for producers of sound recordings in order to incorporate a series of new developments.

GVL has started its bank transfers to producers for the remuneration related to sound recordings, distribution year 2012, this week.
